dB Dialogue
This Week - by Brent Doerner

What's new - LOTS!!

Our new website is now online thanks to multi award winning media designer and Helix website guru Ron Kingyens! Good job pally! Put yer drinking boots on when you get to Decibel City Hall!! Many thanks also to Brian Vollmer - lead singer of Helix for the historic Helix photos and videos he so graciously offered Decibel. Brian keeps helping us anyway he can - and we thank him for it. See www.planethelix.com for more.

Decibel has agreed to a new management deal with Cam Butler of the Metal Works Productions Inc. - Mississauga and we are all looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Cam!
Decibel Manager Cam Butler (left), Front-man Brent Doerner (right) and friends drop into the Helix show in Orillia for a visit.
Cam also introduced us to Andy Charal who is also involved with the band. Andy is a long time sound engineer - and has mixed many different projects - including the latest SAGA cd - Trust. We are very excited to have Andy's attention and involvement - as well.

The band will be going into Fantom Finger sound stage in Mississauga for 3 days of rehearsals for our May 27th gig in Waterloo Park to commemorate Waterloo's 150th birthday. We are last band on and will hit the stage at 4:00 pm. Be there!

We've been writing new songs and preparing to record for our 2nd cd - no recording date set yet. Some of the new tunes are: "My Brain Dancing to a Tune", "A Sickle Shaped Moon", "Love is What I Lean On", "Slip of the Tongue", "Put Some Mustard On It", "When a Heart is Ajar", "One Big Bad Whoopie", and "Cheap at Twice the Price".

Whew! More next dialogue...

Rock on - Brent Doerner
