This Week - Shane Schedler
Hi everybody – it’s me – Shane – doing this update....
There has been a lot of activity with the band in the last two weeks and it's just getting better and better as we go. The 2nd Decibel cd is well under way and Brent has decided to take on another roll as co-engineer and producer for the next cd. The technical aspect of getting set up to record is a very daunting task and we encountered many obstacles along the way. So we recruited the Jim Evans, Peter Beacock, and Mark Fortuna to assist us in these matters. These guy's are like farmers – they’re outstanding in their fields! I’ll refer to them as our tech guru's in the future. "With no sacrifice, there’s no glory!!!”
So we’ve kept ourselves busy doing pre-production on the songs – some of which - have never actually been played by the band until now!
The biggest news of this update is we are "Track of the Day" on Garageband.com. The song being featured - for 24 hours only - is "Alone Again, Face to Face” on Tuesday November 27th! Incidentally, it’s the same song that got us an invitation to audition for the “Bodog Battle of the Bands” contest. See www.garageband.com/artist/decibel and check it out!

I guess I should also let the fans know that Brian D. is recovering very well and is adjusting to his new health conscience lifestyle and if I may say so myself, this guy has not missed a beat. I watched him rehearse one of the new songs and man!!!, this dude ROCKS, nothing will keep him down. A real source of inspiration for me.
So stay tuned for the next installment, I am very excited about everyone hearing our new stuff, as I believe it is our absolute best material to date and it going to "BLOW YOUR HAT IN THE CREEK"!!!
