This Week - Brent Doerner
Hi y'all!
First - I want to wish Doug Wier of the Syre band a speedy recovery from his recent heart attack. Best wishes Doug. I also want to convey our sympathy to Bill Dallier and family for the loss of his older brother Don on Dec. 24/07. He will be missed.
We haven't been doing updates each and every week - but we've been busy recording the 2nd Decibel project. We also took a few daze - and went to West Palm Beach, Florida. Our trip was part business and part pleasure. My wife was doing business with ICTV at the NBC Studios there - so my brother Brian and I took a trip to the Kennedy Space Center - and toured around Nasa for the afternoon. I've included a photo of the "business end" of an old Saturn 5 rocket. We returned a few daze later and got back to recording.
We've been doing some video editing for the new cd - so as we finish recording the tunes - we'll be releasing our own videos to coincide with each tune. I've also decided to post our new lyrics to each new song on this website as well. This will hopefully give our listeners a glimpse into our warped and twisted minds, ha - ha!
Just a final note - all 4 of our demos posted on Garageband.com have been "Track of the Day" in the modern rock category - and we have earned a 4.6 out of 5 rating with "Alone Again, Face to Face!"
